| 1908 | 2015/2014 BC | 0 | Nimrod is born — dated from Jasher’s lifespan | Genesis 10:8–10; 1 Chronicles 1:10 · KJV And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. Chronicles repeats: ‘And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.’ | Jasher 7:23–24; 27:15 · parallel historical source Jasher says Cush begat Nimrod in his old age and later states that Nimrod lived 215 years. | Jasher supplies the dating evidence: Nimrod’s 215-year lifespan and his death after Abraham. Converting those statements into the Original Timeline’s Creation-year chronology places his birth here. The KJV gives neither his birth year nor his age. | |||

When Nimrod was twenty years old he put them on. Jasher says he became strong, God gave him might and strength, he hunted animals, built altars, and offered the animals before the Lord. | Nimrod’s age line reaches 20 completed years on this Creation-year row. Jasher later reports 185 years of rule over the people of the land. | Counting Jasher’s stated 185 years backward from Creation year 2123 places the beginning of Nimrod’s broader rule here, in his thirtieth year. Jasher does not say that he was formally king for all 185 years. Its wording allows a ten-year period of military leadership and rule before his coronation at forty. The KJV does not state the length of his reign. | ||

Genesis names Nimrod as the son of Cush, a mighty one and mighty hunter, and identifies Babel as the beginning of his kingdom. Genesis also records the confusion of language and scattering at Babel. It does not supply Nimrod’s birth, death, age, length of reign, or identify him as the king who confronted Abram.
Genesis 10:8–12 gives Nimrod’s family line, might, hunting, kingdom, and Shinar setting. First Chronicles 1:10 repeats his descent from Cush and says he began to be mighty upon the earth. Much later, Micah 5:6 uses “the land of Nimrod” alongside Assyria in a prophecy of deliverance. Genesis 11 supplies the Babel event but does not name Nimrod in that chapter. Genesis 14 names Amraphel king of Shinar but does not call him Nimrod. Those connections are therefore shown without making the KJV say more than it says.
Jasher supplies the dates and synchronisms needed to map Nimrod: ages in stated events, Abram’s numbered years, the 215-year lifespan, the 185-year reign, the Babel account, Nimrod’s conflict with Abram, and his death by Esau. Those details are displayed as a parallel historical source and never presented as KJV Scripture.
Jasher does not say Nimrod was formally king for 185 years. After he put on the garments of skin that Jasher traces from Adam and Eve through Noah, Ham, and Cush, it says God gave him might and strength. Nimrod rose among his brethren, fought their battles, prospered, and “reigned upon earth.” The reported 185 years count back to his thirtieth year. Ten years later, after the victory narrated at age forty, his brethren formally made him king and placed the crown upon his head. The timeline therefore distinguishes the beginning of his broader rule from his formal coronation.
The established Creation year 2123 contains Abraham’s death and Jasher’s immediately following account of Esau killing Nimrod. Counting Jasher’s stated 215 years backward places Nimrod’s birth line at Creation year 1908. Counting its stated 185-year reign backward places reign year 0 at Creation year 1938. Abram’s age column begins at 0 in his established birth year, Creation year 1948, and reaches Abraham’s completed age 175 in year 2123. Esau’s age line begins at 0 in Creation year 2108. Its annual number records the Creation-year line; the death-row note preserves Jasher’s statement that the event itself occurred within Esau’s fifteenth life-year. The page is therefore mapping Jasher’s dates onto the Original Timeline while allowing birthdays to fall within, rather than exactly upon, a Creation-year boundary.
Genesis says the earth was divided “in his days.” Jasher narrates Babel’s confusion and scattering and then says Peleg died “in those days,” in Abram’s forty-eighth year. Because Abram was born in Creation year 1948, he has 47 completed years on the Creation year 1995 row and his forty-eighth year is underway. The timeline places the events together in that period without claiming that Scripture says God created the languages on the exact day Peleg died.
Genesis 14 names Amraphel king of Shinar among the four kings who invaded the cities of the plain. Jasher 11:6 identifies Nimrod with the name Amraphel, and Jasher 16 places him under Chedorlaomer in that later campaign. Neither account supplies an Abram age or an exact Creation year for that campaign, so this timeline preserves the connection here without forcing it onto a numbered row.
