Before the kingdom divides, Saul, David, and Solomon appear under “United kingdom / Judah.” After Solomon, the same column follows Judah while the Israel column follows the northern kingdom. Overlapping names in one cell are preserved when Scripture’s synchronisms require them.
The accession row is count 0. A verse saying “in the eighteenth year” normally belongs where seventeen years have been completed and the eighteenth ordinal year is underway. Parenthetical or paired counts are not duplicates: they distinguish an age, a prior regional reign, a co-reign, or the reign synchronized in the neighboring kingdom.
This Kings Timeline ends with Jerusalem’s fall in Creation year 3336. The corrected Babylonian Captivity Timeline governs the detailed Nebuchadnezzar, Jehoiachin, city-fall, and Ezekiel counts.
